Few belongings

I've often thought about having few belongings, but I've run into some challenges.

How much space should all belongings fit into?

What about large items, like a server?

Lack of furniture makes your stuff clutter spaces more easily.

Lack of furniture/storage makes the purpose of the space ambiguous.

Lack of tools makes you dependent on others.

Lack of "permanent" items is wasteful, as it promotes the use of single-use plastic products and such.

I have had some benefits. Sleeping on the floor was nice. Having only one load of laundry for my clothes is nice. Having only three folders of loose paper in my life is nice. Having only one notebook in my life is nice.

What do you think?
