looks good to me. i dont see how this would decrease security at all. side note: ircrc is technically in the wrong here, but any sane ircd should ignore ircrc's malformed lines. this seems like another case of ngircd going "this $behavior is unspecified in the RFC, lets just do the exact opposite of what every other major IRCD does, to annoy people who use our software!" yet another example of why ngircd is bad. ~xfnw
